Plaid for Days- Blanket Scarf Edition

Target blanket scarf styled with a turtleneck sweater.

I found the most popular blanket scarf of all time and now I’m styling it for you!

I somehow managed to really luck out making my way to Target shortly after Thanksgiving. Wandered towards scarves just to check. This particular blanket scarf has been so impossible to find. I knew it would be fruitless but I wanted to look anyway. Lo and behold, lucky day! It is every bit as soft and snuggly as I wanted it to be. I’ve been wearing it everywhere! Both to keep warm in the Chicago chill but also just to enjoy the fact that I found it and now it’s all mine to style however i want.

One really important thing to note about this specific blanket scarf is that it’s not square like the huge ones we see everywhere. This one is a rectangle and is about half the size as the big square ones. But it’s still awesome! And that means it works for the less frigid days way better.

I’ve also used this scarf for decor including a table runner! It’s so long and narrow that with one fold, some candles, and pumpkins, it makes the best fall decor tablescape you can dream of. I do love a piece I can use multiple ways!

Turtleneck sweaters mean I can style this a little differently as my neck is already being kept warm.

I love wearing this as a shawl instead of a scarf sometimes. Cinched at the waist with a belt, this thing is like getting a big giant hug all day long. And who doesn’t love a little extra snuggle? I’m linking some extra inspiration in the widget below. These are some of my favorite blanket scarves outside of the ever-popular pattern that everybody has these days.

Thanks! This scarf became my favorite practically overnight. It’s a bit dangerous.
