Honeymoon | Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa
In looking for a destination for a honeymoon, we knew we wanted to be slightly off the beaten path. Somewhere that would still take care of us but allow for exploring on our own. Tulum allowed for that magnificently. So I did some searching for all-inclusive resorts near Tulum and came upon the Dreams chain of hotels.
Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa offers the perfect luxurious getaway for honeymooners looking to step away from a more touristy location. Right on a stretch of beach rated one of the top two in the Caribbean, centered on the edge of a national park, near tons of cenotes and ruins, we knew we’d found our spot.
Even better? Adults only sections of resort. I work with kids. I love kids. Kids are great. But I want them far away from me on my honeymoon!
This place was spectacular. The customer service was out of this world and the facilities were beautiful! We had a Whirlpool in our room, a killer honeymoon package that included a massage, breakfast in bed, and more, and delicious coffee across the board. Which, if we’re being honest, can totally make or break a trip for me.
Upon arrival at the resort, we were greeted with champagne and a little meeting about all the wonderful things we could get up to just on resort property, not to mention nearby! We enjoyed our sips on a terrace and then were shown to our room where we received a map and shown where the pools, the beach, and the restaurants were. Excited doesn’t even begin to cover how I’m feeling right about now!
I think my favorite part of our room [and all the rooms] was the hammock on the balcony. It was just perfect for laying on when a rainstorm came in. Listening to the patter of droplets in the jungle while you’re safely under shelter and enjoying a book is possibly a new favorite activity of mine. Shame I don’t live anywhere near a jungle of my own! That just means I need to go back to jungles with more frequency!
From exploring the beach to relaxing in the pool, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay with this resort. Relaxing in the room with a cup of coffee became a daily post-lunch activity. And the restaurants kept us happily fed and were way accommodating with Sarah’s allergies. I highly recommend this resort, and the whole Dreams family, for anyone looking for a getaway to the Caribbean.
